Valve Routine Maintenance

In the course of the application,the maintenance should be applied to valves to improve their work efficiency and prolong their life.
1.Before use, clean the overcurrent portion of the pipe and valve body with water to prevent residual iron filings and other debris from entering the valve body cavity. General soft-seal valves are used PTFE or rubber as the sealing material, the sealing surface of the hard sealing valve made of metal surfacing. If the valve needs to be cleaned, it should be carefully avoided to prevent the sealing ring from being leaked during disassembly.
2.Valve in the closed state, the valve body remains part of the media, but also to withstand a certain pressure. Before inspecting the valve, close the shut-off valve before the valve, and then open the valve to be repaired to achieve the complete release of the internal pressure of the valve body and to achieve the cleaning.
3.When the valve is disassembled, the bolts and nuts on the flange should be fixed first, and then all the nuts will be slightly tight, and the last one will be firmly fixed. First fixed a nut in the other fixed, otherwise the flange surface due to uneven surface caused by pad damage or rupture, leading to the valve flange docking medium leakage.
4.Cleaning the valve, the use of solvents and accessories to be cleaned do not conflict, do not corrode. When cleaning, thoroughly clean the remaining dust, oil and other attachments, such as water can not be cleaned, without damaging the body and components under the premise of targeted cleaning with alcohol and other cleaning agents. After the cleaning is complete, the cleaning agent is completely evaporated before assembly.
